Torbiere del Sebino and San Pietro in Lamosa
The Sebino Peatlands Nature Reserve, declared a “wetland of international importance” according to the Ramsar Convention and a Site of Community Interest (SCI) of the Natura 2000 Network, is considered a priority area for biodiversity in the Lombard Po Valley. This is due to the variety of habitats and aquatic-marsh species, valuable or of community interest, present in the territory, which are rare or endangered in Lombardy and Italy.
